Water is in high demand in Guatemala. Of course, during the 6 months of rainy season it is plentiful but the 6 month dry season means that city water gets limited and at times, completely cut off. Even though water isn’t always provided, we still pay $25/ month for the service when it is available. Thankfully, our house is built with 2 reservoirs to store plenty of water for the times it is not available and it is pumped into the house when needed.
