Hi friends and family,
The Serving At Risk Families (SARF) leadership team had our monthly meeting this past Friday night. We are currently working on discerning what role God is calling each of us to fill within the ministry. We were able to make significant progress in this area at the meeting. God has gifted our team with a diverse selection of spiritual gifts and passions, such a blessing!
In other exciting news, Dylan and I are going back to Guatemala for a few days next week!!! The 4 liaisons for the SARF leadership team, Dylan, myself, Christina Springer, and Trent Davis are all going to Guatemala from September 20-23, 2011. The goals of this trip are to have meetings with the individuals in Guatemala whom we will be partnering with to make this ministry possible. We also will be working to figure out the best options for managing things for the financial aspect of the ministry.
We want to thank you all for your support of this ministry. Whether it’s been through prayer, helping us raise financial support, or both we know we could not do this without you.
Please keep the SARF team in your prayers as God continues to reveal to us what His designs are for this ministry and what His role is for each of us within the team.
Please also keep the upcoming trip to Guatemala in your prayers. Pray for a safe, productive trip and that all of the goals will be accomplished according to God’s plans.
