As you know one part of our “job” as missionaries is continually raising funds to be able to live in Guatemala and do what the Lord has called us to. This is an ongoing, and often difficult, process for every missionary. We are continually asking the Lord to touch the hearts of the people whom He wants to be a part of our financial support team and seeking Him for wisdom in what our part is for raising the funds to do His work. We are so blessed to have such an amazing support team and we have seen God provide in incredible ways as we continue to trust Him!

One of the things that some people have asked us about is specific needs that we have that they can contribute to. There are people/churches who cannot give monthly but at different times throughout the year they can give a special donation. There are also people/churches who do give monthly but at different times throughout the year the Lord blesses them and leads them to share part of that blessing with the ministry He’s called us to through donations in addition to their monthly support. This is why people have asked for specific needs which they can contribute to. For that reason we have come up with a Uniting 2 Serve donation catalog which we are sending to all of our friends, family and supporting churches. This way if the Lord puts it on your heart to make a special donation you can seek Him on where He would like you to give that donation. This does not mean that you cannot continue to send donations without specifying where they go. This is just an attempt to better meet the needs and requests of supporters who have asked for specific donation ideas.
